How we select and verify

What we look for

Help you decide what to study, where and in what order, with free or low-cost resources. If a resource does not serve that decision, it does not enter.

In practice that means:

• A checked original URL, not an opaque aggregator.
• A summary written by us. We do not copy syllabi or platform descriptions.
• Pricing said with the real nuance: free, audit, paid certificate or conditions.
• A useful next step: a course page, a path or a guide.

What we do not do

• We do not invent courses, prices, durations, instructors or certificates.
• We do not fill a gap with the “most likely” value.
• We do not publish with AI. AI is not allowed to publish the catalog.
• No mass scrapers: quality is not delegated to a robot on day one.
• We do not target the word “free” if pricing is not verified.

How a course is verified

Before publishing, an operator opens the original page and records what they see: whether you can study without paying, what happens with the certificate, the language, the level if it is stated, and the date of that check.

That date is shown on the course page. If too much time passes (about 90 days), the resource should be reviewed again. A link that stops working is not hidden: it moves to broken or needs review, and it stops appearing as a reliable offer.

What each pricing badge means

The public badge is not marketing. It is a translation of what we checked:

• Free: you can study without paying.
• Free to study · paid certificate: the content is accessible; the diploma is not.
• Free audit: you can see the material in audit mode; the certificate or graded assignments are usually paid.
• Free with conditions: there is fine print (deadlines, account, seats). The page should say so.
• Free trial and paid: they do not get a “Free” badge.
• Pricing not verified: we do not know yet. We do not sell it as free.

Who publishes

The operator uses the internal panel. Publishing a course, a path or a guide is a server act: marking a status in the browser is not enough. Paths and guides only go out if they point to courses (or paths) that are already published. That way we do not manufacture empty pages for ranking.

The “Go to the course” button

It opens the original page in a new tab. The click goes through our server so we can count that someone left to the resource —course and date, without your name—. KurseAcademy does not host the classes.

Today that destination is the original URL, not an affiliate link. If that changes, it is declared on the course page and in the affiliates notice.

If something stops being true

Courses change price, close or hide the material behind a wall. When we see it, we correct or unpublish. We prefer a shorter catalog to one that lies.
